Actor Jason Bartley has always had a love for the entertainment industry. As a kid he would watch cartoons, pro wresting and Kung Fu Theater every Saturday while doing household chores. After wards he would recreate all kinds of “scenes” with neighborhood friends, jumping off rooftops, building forts in the woods for mock battles. Then explaining his way out of trouble to his schoolteacher parents that evening. This along with school plays and church functions, was the foundation for his career as an stunt actor. Jason acquired the gift for speech and intriguing conversation.
Starting in the eight grade his love for football carried him to the University of Florida as a linebacker. A published writer since the age of 15, Jason continued to write and perform poetry thru his college years and afterwards while working in finance.
In 2001 after a personal setback he started his foray into acting, working in entertainment was and is the release he needs and the career that allows him to use his diverse skill set.
“When I first started working in the Miami entertainment industry I wanted to work on set every day, so my philosophy was show up for every audition. If not through casting then the stunt coordinator, if there was nothing there I’d take my resume to the production manager and work as a PA and make myself valuable to the production."
The eagerness to contribute enabled Jason to work constantly while educating himself on the business and honing his acting talents.
Known for having many faces cop to criminal, salesman to character actor this versatile actor is adept at many forms of acting. Drama to comedy, improve comedy to public speeches, Jason is a person crew members love to work with because he loves acting.
